At Tohfa From Kashi, each product is individually handcrafted from natural soft stone using traditional carving techniques. Due to the handmade nature of our products and the delicacy involved in stone craftsmanship, every piece requires careful handling. Therefore, cancellations, returns, or exchanges are accepted only under exceptional circumstances, as detailed below.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Orders may be cancelled only before they are dispatched from our facility.
Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.
Upon successful cancellation (prior to dispatch), a store credit equivalent to the full order value will be issued. This store credit can be redeemed against future purchases on the Tohfa From Kashi website.
Customized, personalized, engraved, or made-to-order products cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.
RETURNS POLICY
Returns are accepted strictly under the following conditions only:
- The product received has a manufacturing defect.
- The product delivered is incorrect compared to the confirmed order.
Important Notes Regarding Returns
Minor variations in color, texture, weight, carving depth, finish, or pattern may occur due to the following reasons:
- The natural properties of soft stone
- Manual hand-carving techniques
- Differences in lighting and screen resolution during photography
Such variations are inherent to handcrafted stone products and do not qualify as defects. Therefore, they are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange.
As all products are handcrafted, slight variations in design symmetry or carving details are a natural part of the artisanal process and enhance the uniqueness of each piece. These variations are not considered manufacturing defects.
Products that have been used, installed, displayed, or handled beyond basic inspection will not be eligible for return.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
All stone handicraft products sold by Tohfa From Kashi are non-returnable unless they meet the eligibility criteria stated above.
Customized, engraved, or made-to-order items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable.
DAMAGED OR TAMPERED SHIPMENTS
If your order arrives in a damaged condition, you must notify us by email within 48 hours of delivery. Please include clear photographs of both the product and the outer packaging.
Requests received after 48 hours from the time of delivery will not be eligible for return or replacement.
If the parcel appears tampered with, damaged, or unsealed at the time of delivery, do not accept or open the package. Immediately contact us for assistance.
RETURN AND EXCHANGE PROCESS
All return or exchange requests are subject to review and approval by Tohfa From Kashi.
Upon approval, a return or exchange authorization will be issued within five working days.
Once authorized, the product must be shipped back within five days in its original packaging, unused, with the original invoice and tags intact.
Products returned without authorization or not meeting these conditions will not be accepted.
REFUNDS
Approved refunds are issued only in the form of store credit.
Store credits can be used for purchasing any product available on the Tohfa From Kashi website.
Cash refunds, bank transfers, or original payment method reversals are not provided.
All approved returns are processed within seven working days after the returned product is received and inspected.
EXCHANGE POLICY
Exchanges are permitted only for products that are approved for return due to damage or incorrect delivery.
Any product that has been opened, installed, displayed, or used is not eligible for exchange.
For international orders, customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and shipping charges associated with both the return shipment and the exchanged item.
